Play Jezerske Stories

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., we invite you to Županov kot to see the play Jezerske Stories.

You will be able to see 3 stories from the life of the people of Jezersko many years ago. The actors, members of the local amateur theater group, gladly transform into shepherds, carters, and other figures from our history, presenting to the audience the life of the past in the authentic Jezersko dialect.

The stories were collected and written down by Andrej Karničar in the book Jezerske štorije.

Since there is hard snow on the northern shady slopes, the use of complete winter mountaineering equipment (crampons and ice axe) is still mandatory for safe access to the Češka koča and Kranjska koča and the peaks above.

Sheep Shearing Demonstration using the Bowen Technique & Wool Sorting

You are kindly invited to a sheep shearing demonstration using the Bowen technique and wool sorting on Saturday, 11 April, at Kovk Farm, Spodnje Jezersko 14. The event will take place from 11:00 to 16:00.

Tourist Farms Week – April 10–19

As part of Tourist Farms Week, organized by the Association of Tourist Farms Slovenia, Šenk's homestead is also participating in Jezersko.

Winter activities

At Park Jezersko, the ski slopes will be open Saturday: 10:30 – 14:00 and Sunday: 9:00 – 14:00, all other winter activities in Jezersko are closed.

Warning!

In the high mountains above 1,600 m, there is a high risk of triggering avalanches. Conditions are extremely challenging, so visiting the high mountains in the coming days is not recommended.

Winter Activities

Due to heavy snowfall, Park Jezersko is closed today, February 20. The park will reopen on Saturday, February 21, and Sunday, February 22, when visitors can enjoy the family ski area, snow tubing, and a mini sledding hill.
