Kino pod gorami (Cinema Under the Alps): Triglav: Path to Redemption

As part of Kino pod gorami (Cinema Under the Alps), you are warmly invited to a screening of the Slovenian feature-length documentary Triglav: Path to Redemption on Saturday, 8 August, at 9:00 PM.

The film tells the story of Dare Vidic, a survivor of a tragic accident on Mount Triglav that occurred fifty years ago, when two consecutive lightning strikes fatally affected a group of young hikers. Through heartfelt testimonies and a return to the site of the tragedy, he embarks on a personal journey of confronting the past and finding inner peace. At the same time, the documentary serves as a tribute to those who lost their lives and as a reminder to everyone venturing into the mountains that nature deserves respect and humility.
