Hiking festival 2018

Dear visitors of Jezersko:

this year we have also prepared some interresting events within the hiking festival in Jezersko, which will also take place in other locations in Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

The hiking festival in Kamnik-Savinja Alps will take place from 21. till 25. of June. In Jezersko we prepaired 4 events which will take place from 22. till 25. of June.

You will hear interesting things about history, our destination, our culture... also taste some of delicious local specialties with live folk music. The young ones will enjoy their day in stunning mountain scenery with dwarfs.

Storytelling evening, June 22nd., at 8 PM, Jenk Barracks Museum:

Hear our humorous, mysteryous, real and imagined stories about people in Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Stories will be narrated in a 500 year-old building - ethnographic museum...

Fairytale hike for children to Češka koča-mountain hut, June 23rd, at 9.30 AM, starting point: TIC Jezersko, Zg. Jezersko 57

In Jezersko live fairies, trolls and dwarfs, get to know them with an experienced and fun guide!

*The trail is medium difficulty, all participants get equpipment (helmet and climbing belt.

Hike to Goli vrh, June 24th, at 11:00 from the parking place where the thematic pathway starts. At 14:00 blessing of hikers and hiking gear will find place on the summit of Goli vrh.

Traditional competition of the accordionists, June 25th, at 11:00 near Planšar lake

Enjoy the sounds of folk music in the beautiful mountain ambience near the glacial lake.

All events are free for all participants. For the events storytelling evening and fairytale hike your previous registration in TIC Jezersko is mandatory (contact below)

Winter activities

At Park Jezersko, the ski slopes will be open Saturday: 10:30 – 14:00 and Sunday: 9:00 – 14:00, all other winter activities in Jezersko are closed.

Warning!

In the high mountains above 1,600 m, there is a high risk of triggering avalanches. Conditions are extremely challenging, so visiting the high mountains in the coming days is not recommended.

Winter Activities

Due to heavy snowfall, Park Jezersko is closed today, February 20. The park will reopen on Saturday, February 21, and Sunday, February 22, when visitors can enjoy the family ski area, snow tubing, and a mini sledding hill.

Winter Activities

At Park Jezersko, the ski area and snow tubing will be open on Saturday, February 14. Tubing from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the ski area from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. During winter holidays, from February 15 to 22, Park Jezersko will be open every day, snow tubing from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the ski area from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Jezersko Heritage Ski Descent

You are invited to the Jezersko Ski Roots Downhill, which will take place on Carnival Sunday, 15 February 2026, at 2:00 PM in Park Jezersko, at the Jaga Baba ski slope in Sibirija.

Valentine’s Masquerade Party at Pension Kanonir

Come and celebrate love and laughter at Pension Kanonir on Saturday, February 14, starting at 7:00 PM.
