Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj


From 8 to 24 May 2026, the culinary event Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj will take place in Gorenjska.

In its fourth edition, 20 providers from the municipalities of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Kranj, Jezersko, Naklo, Preddvor and Tržič are participating. This year’s theme is honey from local beekeepers, which will be included in multi-course menus.

The menus are uniform and cost €30.

In Jezersko, the following are participating:

Since there is hard snow on the northern shady slopes, the use of complete winter mountaineering equipment (crampons and ice axe) is still mandatory for safe access to the Češka koča and Kranjska koča and the peaks above.

You are kindly invited to a sheep shearing demonstration using the Bowen technique and wool sorting on Saturday, 11 April, at Kovk Farm, Spodnje Jezersko 14. The event will take place from 11:00 to 16:00.

At Park Jezersko, the ski slopes will be open Saturday: 10:30 – 14:00 and Sunday: 9:00 – 14:00, all other winter activities in Jezersko are closed.
