Festival Solzic
Festival Solzic is a tribute to Carinthia, the lands that weave the
country along the Karawanks. Carinthia is the successor of the former
Carantania, which today as a wreath of three regions: Slovenian, Austrian, and Historic Carinthia, enriches the area.
Festival Solzic honors this region through WORD and NATURE (water, air, and earth). For 10 years it was based under Mount Uršlja Gora in Kotlje, enriching the cultural story of the Mežica, Drava, and Mislinja valleys. Now it embraces the tri-border of three regions, transforming it into an awareness of the uniqueness and beauty of the Karawanks area—for life and tourism.
