ALPE GRAN FONDO COMES TO JEZERSKO

On Saturday, 30 May 2026, Jezersko will host a section of the international cycling event ALPE GRAN FONDO, one of the most scenic amateur cycling challenges in the Alpine region.

The route will take cyclists from Kamnik across Črnivec Pass, through the Savinja Valley and Pavlič Pass into Austria, before returning via Jezersko towards Preddvor and back to Kamnik. Once again, Jezersko will become part of a unique Alpine story connecting sport, nature and breathtaking mountain views.

Visitors and locals alike will have the opportunity to cheer on cyclists from various countries and enjoy a vibrant sporting atmosphere in the heart of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.

Important traffic notice

Due to the event, temporary full road closures will be in place on Saturday between 9:00 and 17:00 on the regional road R1-210 and all connecting local roads. In the Jezersko area, full closures are expected between 11:00 and 15:00.
