65th Shepherds' Ball

The Jezersko Inn and the Jezersko Tourist Association traditionally organize the Shepherds' Ball, Slovenia's oldest ethnographic event, every year on the second Sunday in August. This year, the event will be held for the 65th time.

You are warmly invited on Sunday, 9 August 2026, from 11:00 a.m., to the 65th Shepherds' Ball.

Visitors will discover traditional alpine shepherds' customs, watch the sheep being driven down from the mountain pastures, and see demonstrations of sheep wool processing. They will also be able to enjoy a variety of delicious homemade dishes prepared in the traditional way.
