61th Shepherds Festival

Every year on the second Sunday in August, the Restaurant by the lake and the Tourist Association of Jezersko organize the oldest Slovenian ethnographic event called the Shepherds Festival. This year it will be the 61th in a row.



The Shepherds Festival revives traditions of former pastoral farming manners and customs, with special emphasis on the wool processing – shearing, spinning and knitting.
Event starts at 11.00 am. You will be able to see the old traditions of pastoral farming and life in the mountains, try some traditional food and listen to folk music.
