Vote for the Best Slovenian Mountain Trail 2021

The mountain trail to Koroška Rinka (Križ) is part of the Slovenian mountain trail and is one of the most beautiful as well as the most demanding protected trails in the Grintavci group.

The trail usually starts in the valley of the Ravenska Kočna, from where it ascends to the Kranjska hut and further to the Jezersko seddle. From here, a steep and panoramic ridge rises towards the top of the Koroška Rinka mountain. It offers exciting crossings of steep slopes and attractive climbing on vertical rock barriers. The path offers one of the most beutiful panoramic views in the region.

Winter conditions in the mountains

Despite the bad winter in the valley, the mountains still have completely winter conditions, which require a lot of knowledge and winter equipment (crampons, ice ax, helmet and avalanche safety gear) for a safe journey.
